Got my 7 yr old boy in the blind with me this morning in Washington county. Kids sure do make a lot of noise. We have seen 2 coyote and doe and 2 little ones. No shots
4 does 2 fawns 100 yards out in field about 7:30. Yotes were singin a song @ 6:20 when I was climbin up the stand including one behind me from where I walked in. He was closer than I like walkin with no light.
Things got better shortly after I posted this. Had a little doe fawn show up by herself and stay then a little three point showed up videoed them for a long time then got to thinking about that new smoker I'm picking up today and how good that little one might taste with some apple wood smoke on it. Did a Facebook pole, texted the wife to see if my daughter would be upset, little girl said shoot it daddy! About that time they both left and then came back and left and came back. Finally on the third time I set the phone down, squared up the camera and let her fly. Not shot one that small for a long time but man it'll be good eating. Hope everyone has a great weekend. I'm probably done for a week or two! Good shot too!
I got one last year like that. Put the whole ham in a broiler with 3 pounds of taters two onions cubed and a six cloves of garlic. Dusted with salt and pepper. 4 hours later I ate so much I was about sick. So it will be good eating. Man I hope I get one tonight. Congrats. Looks like you may have some hunting partners fighting over who's going with daddy hunting in a few years.
Are you kidding me this makes me sick. Know honor in this. Come on man please tell me your starving, otherwise know reason for this. Just one more reason the kdfwr bag limit and seasons is messed up. Shamefull
What's not to honor? It's a legal kill, right? Have you ever heard of "veal"? The last time I checked the bag limit is you are allowed to take a doe during bow season, whether the first day or the last. If you don't like one with spots, don't shoot one. But don't degrade someone for legally harvesting a doe.
huh oh! here we go. You guys should really be ashamed of yourselves. You should strive to kill the whole family so nobody has to suffer. If you shoot the mama first the babies will usually stick around long enough to get another arrow nocked or atleast they will be back tomorrow looking for mommy.
Buddy let me tell ya, your gonna make a bunch of friends on here talking like that. I'm gonna be a big embarrassment tonight if a fawn walks out in front of me. I'll stack them up till I run out of tags.
