There has not been any feed in this feeder since last September when one of these sobs turned it over last. Guess he remembers but…..as do I fk’n POS.

Them things would drive me absolutely nuts. Any chance at hunting them or would they all be considered baited?

I could not bait but know that others bait in the area, so not sure how that would work.

By the way the law reads. I don’t think there’s a place in Kentucky you could legally kill a bear unless you hiked 5 miles into a WMA or DBNF. The way it reads you can’t hunt over bait, or a bear that “has its travel influenced by a non-natural food source” or something to that effect. The way I comprehend it is it’s all about how big of a dick your game warden wants to be that comes to your kill site. I still feel like fish and wildlife would croak if they knew how many bears got the ol’ SSS in the far eastern part of the state. I’m amazed we have what we do lol

@east_ky_hunter Yeah I figured there was bait nearby, and my understanding is most wardens would cite you. Is really like to see this go to court and get struck down. They need to add in reasonable distances from other people’s bait.
My interpretation of the situation is locals get citations and hunters from other places wouldn’t because they have no way to know. Many are guided so thats BS.
KDFWR was moved to tourism for a reason, the state wants outside revenue.

I hate bears! This past deer season they destroyed 2 feeders and 3 blinds, one blind was brand new and not cheap that I set up 2 weeks before rifle season had a new fancy blind chair in it too only found the frame of the chair all the fabric and stuffing was gone.. blind looked like a bulldozer had ran it over a few times! The SOB took a dump on the mess it made just for good measure, btw I found it out on opening rifle season morning after I made the long walk to the blind. Bears have messed with my feeders the last few years but until this past year never messed with my blinds.
