Many who have watched it. Think they are pros now. You should be one to.
I’ve only seen a few episodes but it seems like it’s mostly about family hijinks than duck hunting.
The duck commander hunting videos are a whole nothef story.
Yall wanna know who we should hate the most in this thread? Weathermen. I don't know how those dudes keep their jobs. The forecast for this week-weekend has changed 3 times since 6:45am. 1-3" of snow Friday-Saturday. 1" Snow Friday night. All rain Friday-Saturday. Like a woman. They can't make up their mind.
Anyone gonna hunt the front coming in? Expectations?
I'm gonna hunt it, but I don't think it's gonna be stout enough to improve things much
I'll hunt it but I dont have high hopes. Got a youth hunt Sunday at the cave run lake fish hatchery. Be nice to have a push for it.
I had a good day in the duck woods.
Not sure where to share this little gem of a story so I'll just put it here. The social media post reminded me of a few weeks ago and I forgot to share.
We took a father, son, and son's buddy with us to our pit in MO to hunt a few days. My lease partner knew the guy and the son (around age 15-16) from work. The boys had just started duck hunting and the father wanted to take them on a trip. First off, kudos to the dad for taking his boy and friend. My dad did a lot of things for me in my childhood but never took me on a hunting trip, so I was a bit jealous. Anyway, we hunted 2 days from legal to legal. We saw a lot of ducks but in the end, they just wouldn't finish with the clouds. After day 1 of the trip, said son told his dad "I don't want to stay here much longer. I don't have any cell phone signal." I knew I had misheard what the son had said, so I just put it in the back of my mind. Surely the little teenager didn't mean what I heard. That night, they left the lodge to go into Kennett to eat. Day 2 came and about the same. We saw a lot of ducks and worked a bunch. These two boys got to see more ducks in two days than I seen my first 4 years of duck hunting. We shot at some ducks that should've died but didn't. High winds made for some tough shots. That afternoon we asked them what they wanted to do, since they were our guests. Stay another day and hope for the best or go home. The son piped up and said "I don't care where we go or what we do, I just want to kill ducks."
We went home that afternoon and my lease partner asked if I knew why they went into Kennett that night. I told him, no but I just figured it was because they wanted to eat. Wrong. They went into the city so the son could talk to his girlfriend. Now look, I was that age once. I remember thinking with that head. But really? Couldn't handle a few days without a cell phone? I would've given my cell phone up if my dad had taken me on an out of state hunting trip. The son's friend was great the whole trip. I knew him before the trip and he's a great kid. He will be a great hunter one day. Not so sure about future boy tho.
You’ve obviously forgot how powerful the urges that young buck was dealing with are. Take some viagra and crawl into the pit. Let us all know which head you start thinking with. lol
Had another good day in the duck woods.
Pitchers or it never happened.
After season is over BO. Hate the playa, not tha game.
Today wasn't as good, but still killed ducks.
After season is over yall yammy boys gonna have to be ready to look at the backend of a merc at the 1st annual KHF green river duck boat races. Wont have no time for lookin at no pictures. Ok I lied my junks slow. I haven't got to hunt in a week and duster hasn't been making a fool of himself to keep me amused. I'm hating the playa the game and everything associated at this point.
I'll take the Yammy for being a Tank (And I actually know what a tank can do) and for great reliability plus mileage that is phenomenal for a 2 stroke.
