I was referring to the term "mass shooter". Any time someone is shooting, it's an active shooter, as far as I'm concerned.By definition it was an active shooter. I just watched a breakdown of the Uvalde shooting by an ex police officer/swat team member and he broke down the difference of active shooter and barricaded individual. The head officer down there that ordered people to stand down and not enter the school was saying it was a barricaded individual situation, when it in fact was a active shooter, because he never stopped shooting throughout the situation. Same applies here, he was constantly shooting and that’s why it’s classified as an active shooter.
