Unofficial word this morning is 4 police officers have been killed. 2 or 3 others wounded. Please pray for all of them. Word is shooter was ex military and was from Montana.

Allen is where I grew up, this makes the 2nd time a mass shooting has occurred in this small community. Sad, always though it was a peaceful little town. Made national news again.

Someone should have saved the taxpayers a lot of money and give some closure to the family members who lost a loved one.
Now we will have to furnish him a lawyer , housing and food for his lifetime.

...arrest citation says eight people had been shot by the time Storz was arrested around 10 p.m.

Seven of the people shot were officers. Two of those officers died.

The eighth victim was an emergency management director.

The arrest citation says a police canine was also shot and killed....

Lance Storz is the shooter. Conflicting news reports on how many officers were killed. One other person reported killed as well as a police dog by WKYT.
