My son told me there is a senior at a local high school that got cited for. poaching 18 bucks, cutting their heads off, and tossing the bodies into the river. Not only is he being charged for poaching but also for contamination of the river. Pisses me off so bad but i have no idea what the appropriate punishment for this would be. Lifetime ban from hunting and firearms, fines, and jail sentence?
Five years indentured servitude to the Kentucky Department of Fish and wildlife sounds suitable to me
He needs to spend his high school prom with big bubba at the jail house. Make that two proms with bubba and friends, he was held back his senior year.
Seconded. Not that the punk wont just keep poaching but his punishments would compound when/if caught a second time. What was he doing with all those heads anyway?
I mean in what friggin world does this kid live in for him to think this is an acceptable thing to do? It's not cool, not fun, not ethical. I got worked up when my son told me about it
Thats unbelievable some states have gone to a 1000 dollar a point on poaching bucks example 10 point would be 10,000 dollars ky needs that as also on top of the fine their are other penalities Ohio did it on this one might make poachers think about what they are doing a little more
Have you heard anything about it? He goes to Thomas Nelson. I disagree. This is too much. No way he gets off clean.
I have not heard about it YET but most likely, the way Bardstown is, we will hear more. Not sure how they pinned 18 on him.
