Hey @1wildcatfan why are you saying that? I thought waste grain from a harvested field is a natural process so it’s not considered baited. You cannot put more corn out or manipulate in a way that’s not a usual farming practice. Anyone correct me if I’m wrong.
Your right.
But I think he’s sayin hope the corn gone by season that way they be over on him by season. May be wrong though.

They quit coming to our corn stubble field couple weeks ago, the combines don’t waste much now days, was wondering what it would cost me to pay the farmer that crops it to keep an acre not harvested this year, soybeans this time but I’m sure the game will eat that during winter.

The combine that farms across the road waste plenty. Full ears sitting out there lol. The neighbors and I couldn't believe how much waste grain is laying out there. Deer, turkey and especially the geese have been piled in these fields

Had a duck/goose lease that the guys combine left more than it gathered! We didn't complain! But when turkey season rolled around the birds would pitch out into the middle of that field and never leave all day. Guys must of had 6 blinds in that field but it was probably 200 acres and they just couldn't get close. I kept telling em to take a layout blind out there in the dark, and take a spread of turkey dekes but nobody would listen. One day I pulled all the blinds after dark, set a layout and set 8 dekes and 3/4 strut jakes. Wasn't long that morning and a longboard was on the ground.
