Remember the cast iron I got last week?? It was pretty cruddy... A few days in the lye tank, a bunch of elbow grease (along with sore fingers), and a few new coats of seasoning did wonders! Anyone got a good breadstick recipe I could try with the 2nd pan??????

Hey, I finally found a good bread stick recipe to use in the bread stick pan!!!! (Yes, they're deformed looking. Yeast breads are not my strong point! But they tasted delicious!)

Pull apart garlic bread sticks in a vintage cast iron corn stick pan! They puffed up high & stuck together across the top but were easy to separate due to the dividers in the bottom. We'll definitely make them again!

My Mother & Father in law have a pile of that Griswold stuff. Just curious, how much is something like that worth? $$
It depends on the piece and the condition. That particular cornstick pan shown above? It's the extra large one which makes it quite rare. I've seen it go anywhere from $90-$150 PLUS shipping. The regular size ones sell for as low as $30 to upwards of $50. Skillets? It depends on the logo and handle style. A 10.5" can be worth anywhere from $30 for a small label to around $90 or even more for a large, slant label with a grooved handle. A lot also depends on where someone tries to sell it. There are collector groups where fully restored, mint condition iron will go for top dollar. At a yard sale or even most antique malls, you'll get about 25-30% less in general.

If you have pics of specific pieces (especially of the backs & handles), I could try to estimate them for you.

I was just curious because my FIL had showed me his collection that he’s all proud of and they also have them hanging on the wall all around their kitchen but I’ve never seen the corn one before. Interesting!

Sounds like he's got quite a collection. I have dozens of pieces but few Griswolds. Everything from gate marked pieces from the 1800's to modern Lodge. And it's all used - the house rule is if you don't use it, it's gotta go!
