Good luck with your sale and in fact I’ll mention it to a couple of my real estate clients. There certainly isn’t any $2500 per acre land around my area.
Been looking casually at land in OH and KY. $2500 would be very good for timberland in either location. Seen many tracts that have been timbered and are straight up and down for much more than that! GLWS!
I'd love for you guys to be buyers on anything I sell. If you'd give 250K for a 100 acres that has nothing but timber then my 53 acres may be worth 500K. I'll put it up for sale today if anyone is interested.
I actually have, I hunt Ohio in Gallia County. I have looked at about 8 or 9 properties and in comparison they are all absolute steals compared to this. I just didn't know it. I'm gonna buy them all and put up for sale on here.
You guys are comparing apples to oranges. 100 acres can fetch 60k to 6million depending on a lot of variables. Until you get familiar with exactly what this property is i dont see the point in commenting negatively. It might be under, over, or appropriately priced. There is a bunch of demand for real estate and prices are up. If the man can get double what he could have 2 years ago good on him! Then again if you are a buyer and are just kicking tires before breaking out your billfold, I appreciate that strategy lol. Kick away and good luck!
I just saw 12 acres for sale for 403K here in Lexington if any of you are interested? Even has a nice 45x30 building on it. Y’all better get on that.
It’s really a matter of perspective. Had a friend move here from Minnesota and he couldn’t believe how cheap houses were in Lexington. I moved here, bought a home with 800 less sq feet and a postage stamp for a yard compared to nearly 1.5 acres with my previous home and this house was 66 K more.
Im still interested to know if the property is in Adams County Ohio. I still have some extended family up there that I could let know about it if it is in said county or a neighboring county.
