Who is going. If someone goes like to see a video. Never been
There are several videos on YouTube....
I don’t currently have plans to go....but I may end up heading down. I’ve been to Norris twice and Cumberland twice so far. Headed to laurel this weekend. I need to get dale hollow on the books.
What are you after? I may be able to help.
Dale hollow? Anything really.
I meant Laurel. You after largemouth, smallmouth, trout?
Oh. Sorry. My boy and I fish in the mornings for fun. Nothing too serious. Then we ski, wake board, wake surf, and swim. I’m not a great fishermen by any means. If you have tips that I could share with my boy (he’s ate up with fishing) I’d be grateful.
We normally catch bluegill and sun fish but catching bass would be phenomenal
Well if you get tired of skiing and the sun then head up to Craigs creek as far back as you can go. There are plenty of tall cliffs to block the sun and if this rain hasn't been too bad it's crystal clear up there. It's a great place to throw a bobber and cricket against those straight down bluffs for big bluegills.
It's getting kinda late and hot but if you are there at daylight try a spook near the dam creek branches. Water is warming slower than normal this year.
Keitech 3.3” swimbaits. 1/4-3/8 jigheads. Cast and reel slow. Don’t set hook when you feel biting.,just keep reeling til it gets heavy. Everything that swims will eat these and honestly any other swimbaits. Size is dependent on what you looking for.
Don’t worry. You can thank me later
