That video that was posted says it all. Good lord...granted, the guy had no business running, but the video of the one big thug just throwing punches into this guy's face was almost hard to believe. All the cops involved will do some serious prison time over this incident and rightfully so. At least the protests are peaceful for now....

I believe it's peaceful ONLY because they were all black.

ANTIFA (White Liberals) is trying to instigate the Black Protesters to Violence but maybe they are Smarter than That.
The police were obviously out of control in the situation. Black Thug Cops beatdown of a Black Thug. (On his way to Church no doubt). Fella DidndoNuffin it seems to me. Yelling "Lie Down" and he already is lying down.
Memphis is a Rough Place no question, and the Police were fighting fire with fire. Just wrong place, wrong person.
Nothing will change except the Police will Pull Back and let the Criminals do their "Thing."

After seeing that video, I've got more questions than answers but the one thing I know for sure is that my personal philosophy of doing whatever the cops tell me to do is still firmly in place. I wouldn't have run in the first place (how often does that work?) and I damn sure would've given them my hand after I was caught.

Something just doesn't seem right with that guy ... was he on drugs or did he have some kind of autistic issue? WHY did he run to begin with??

I dunno but I DO know there ain't enough money in Memphis for me to be a cop ... it's an absolutely no win job in today's political climate.

No person in their right mind would be a cop these days. Now pretty much the only people that will do that job are the bottom of the barrel. I personally think we haven't seen anything yet when it comes to police misconduct. It's getting that way with teachers and doctors too. 3 of the most important professions out there and they're all going to $hit. I'm not saying there are no good cops, teachers, and doctors left, there definitely are, but they are going the way of the dodo.

I would like to know who was training these cops, they need a good talking to.....
way too much over the top......it doesnt take 5 big men to take down a smaller man.

Yes Sir, I think the two replies are interrelated ... as the quality of the recruits goes down, sooner or later the quality of management has to suffer too.

And ... slightly off subject ... I think when a police officer reaches twice the normal weight for someone their size, they need to go on a diet or be banned from the doughnut shop for at least 6 months. Some of the guys in that video looked like bears wearing a bullet proof vest.

All indications are that guy was clean. Worked a steady job. No record. Those cops beat that guy to death. On camera. *KNOWING* the cameras are there. They've beat people before. They just got caught this time.
There's a reason its known as Mogadishu on the Mississippi...

How can you tell which cop you're dealing with? Barney Fife or "Punchy McRoid Rage"??? I sure can't tell 'em apart...

How’s the guy end up dying? He didn’t necessarily get off easy but I didn’t see where he was in all that bad of shape at the end of it. He took a couple shots but wasn’t like he was absolutely mauled.
