325wsm reloading question

    It will flake off. It's harder than the barrel steel. When it flakes, it can embed into the copper jacket...then down the bore the bullet goes, with a nickle gut hook embedded into it.

    Also, nickel cases ( bottle neck ) aren't exactly die friendly. Carbide straight wall , no problem.
    I looked at the WSSM cartridge family and thought that one would replace a rifle or two, and I still think they're cool, but now with LIMITED ammo and reloading stuff out there, I think I'll stay put.

    Simply neck up to .325 from a .300 wsm. After the brass is fireformed, shoot the thunder out of it. Necking brass up and down isn't rocket science. I shoot almost all wildcats, something like necking up or down brass is a way of life for me.
