Thanks to Gregg and packer I was able to retrieve my buck. It was an unforgettable track job. I don’t know who climbed through more saw briar, me, Gregg or his super tracker packer lol.
Packer took up the track after over 26 hours after the actual shot and after hours of failed searching. Not only did he find my buck unexpectedly still alive and trying to gore him with his antlers he wrestled him down the hill a ways and held onto him until I could run down to catch up.

I was beside myself with grief and disappointment because I knew he was the biggest deer I’d ever been blessed to shoot.
Decide to come my favorite site for help and found it. Think I may have made some new friends and gained a new respect for another aspect of hunting.
Thank you Gregg and packer 😎

Killed this buck soon as I got in stand this evening. So told wife to stay put in her stand. I got down and gutted this buck cause it was early and wanted her to finish her hunt and I got back in stand bout 3. And wasn’t long killed a coyote bout 30 yards from my buck. Didn’t want him eatin on my buck.
Went got her at dark from stand and retrieved my other coyote I shot other evening and took a pic of a double and buck. Good evening in stand. Wife needs a buck and doe or 2 does and I need another doe. Tomar last day for us. Hope we tag out.

Mine went fantastic.... open day 243 gamechanger through both lungs no blood..screw it bought a new 270...due to health didn't go much after that .. then Thanksgiving morning 2 miles from the house I got a nice doe full hit with my 13 ram... broke every bone in her body... she came out of the woods full bore and I was doing about 35... was a full body hit... insurance already paid and I know the good lord was watching over me.. no air bags deployed
