My family is my entire world. I’m just stacking the deck in my favor for the future...
Evening hunt today
I scratched out another 30 or so grey/yellows. My buddy that's only been hunting em a couple years contributed 2 to the bag...his excuse was something about the greys blending in better lmao. It got to where I'd find some and he'd say don't pick em so I can find em and get my eyes used to it haha. First spot we got to he said let's bet whoever finds the first and the biggest has to chug their brew. I said ok and walked no more than 10 steps and spotted the biggest one of the trip first thing haha he hushed after that.
Here's ya a double @Recurve77
Checked a few patches in Hart between chasing turkeys today. Found 7 blacks and surprised that 5 were still very fresh. Also found 1 large yellow and 3 small ones.
Found 41 more in a roadside ditch this morning
Took grandkids out looking for mushrooms yesterday. New it was to early around here but was fun to get them out. Did find a shed. And enjoyed the outdoors with them.
Anyone else having trouble with the way things are posted on these forums? Just started doing that...ughh
Me and the wife had a great day in the woods Sunday. While we only found 11 hickory chickens we really enjoyed the time outside. Wish the pictures wouldn’t go sideways
11 makes a good mess when you find them that big!
