To me that bird is an example of the most striking grouse coloration out there. I haven't really seen that many like that, and Ive been after these things all over north america for 60 years. Ive seen that coloration Mostly in Mn and Manitoba. Beautiful.

That’s a good mix of red and grey phase. Cool bird.
