Anniversary gift to yourself, leave the snagger at home?
They still guarding beds?
Yeah. They stay on longer than most think. Kinda like deer. There is a peak. But then a trickle rest of way.
I figured they were. We got on a big bed last weekend. They were beating the hell out of a beetle spin.
Off topic but I cut my teeth on beetle spins in the early 80s as a young teen learning to bass fish on a county watershed. Wore out the bass around the spillway with one.
Been my go to for 25 years. Hell they outfish live bait most of the time. And they're easy for the rookies (my wife and kids) to do well with also
Always have a few close by.
Untold the number of fish the wife and I have caught wade fishing creeks with the ol trusty beetle spin.
Man, you have a beautiful pond with some nice fish. Nice.
Caught this guy while trolling at Nolin last week.
This is my PB creek chub.
Never thought id get one but i was very happy with him.
They make fine bait. Just saying
Bwahahahahahhaha that's a personal experience speech eh?
Yes they do. I used to get them from the bait store and fish them at spillways. But this guy was bigger than the biggest of any i had seen. Almost had him mounted
Ever seen any with spikes/horns in n there head?
