You can donate your deer to https://kyhuntersforthehungry.info/, or as we have done here in the past, connected hunters with folks that would like to have a deer donated to them.
The deer would need to be properly tagged, by the hunter, using the hunters tag. When you donate a deer, you are required to telecheck, and attach a carcass tag to the animal.

CARCASS TAG A hunter shall attach a handmade tag to the carcass of any harvested deer, elk, turkey, bear, bobcat, or otter if transferring possession of the harvested animal to another person. For example, a carcass tag is required if the hunter gives the animal to another person, drops it off to be processed, or takes the head and cape to a taxidermist. A harvested animal in a hunter’s possession is assumed theirs, unless the carcass tag states otherwise. The carcass tag must include the hunter’s name, phone number and telecheck confirmation number.

If you would like to receive or donate a deer, post up your information here. Please include the county that you are located in. Communication from that point should be via PM.

Keith I was gonna make my own thread on this but I’ll use yours to keep in the same spot. Feel free to move or make this it’s own thread, if you wanna keep yours separate. It’s a good cause we need to do more for our communities.

Robertson Co is gonna have their HFH program again this year. Second weekend of Modern Gun Fri-Sat and Sun till 2 pm. I’ll give times for fri and sat when I get more info. Bring tagged deer to the vocational barn behind the school (Only one school in co). The meat is quartered out by volunteers and Kerns meat locker outta Brooksville donates a refrigerated truck (thanks Kerns) and the deers head and meat goes to UK for data and testing, then ground and sent back to Robertson Co. I believe we had over 600 pounds of burger last year distributed to the needy. Thanks for whoever donated if your on here. I brought one and donated 4-5 hours of quartering out. Actually was a blast lot of bragging joking and camaraderie going on. Looking forward to it again. Please bring a deer if ya can.

Campbell County
I officially lost my only hunting spot today due to landowners crazy wife not wanting deer killed anymore as she claims they are her pets. I had the opportunity to kill one deer off there but need at least one or two more. If anyone near the Campbell county area has a extra one please let me know. Thanks

Thank you. I'm going to need this info. My son-in-law is a "California Surfer Dude," as my daughter likes to call him. He gets sick at the smell of wild game cooking. His mother forced him to eat a wild rabbit. He doesn't know what he's missing. If prepared right, it will taste just like beef. I'm living in Indiana now and will pay out the nose for my deer tags and hunting license, but it will be worth it. You have no idea how good Kentuckians have it. In Indiana, you can't even fish with more than 2 rods and the hunting regulations are ridiculous. I want to go home. I was born and raised a Kentuckian.

If anyone is near Edmonton, KY that would like a deer. I would be happy to donate mine. Thought I would try here first, if no interest I'll donate to Hunters for Hungry in Columbia, KY tomorrow. Mike
