Do the food plots in 79,80, and 81 have anything on them now?
We got 2 average 8 pointers. My buddys was a little odd on 1 side.
Yep me and my buddy both got bucks. Our other guy got a doe. One other doe was taken by someone.
We ended up having 10
People hunting that we split between 2 areas. Worked out perfect. Love the new system. In the old system. We could not have done that. Hopefully they leave it this way. Great guides in both areas. Already looking forward to next year
Any bow hunters having any late-season success at Knox?
Highly doubt anybody sees this but if im archery hunting on fort knox during ky statewide rifle season do i have to wear orange?
I don't know the legal end, but I'm going to go ahead and say yes for your own peace of mind
There's nothing in the Archery Guidelines requiring orange. It would be three days only, Nov 10,11 and 12 if you are tier 3 and drawn for that weekend. I've hunted that weekend several years and don't wear it, I do carry it in my pack.
If guns are used on the property you have to use orange.
You can always call hunt control and they will tell you, but from my understanding of the Knox Regs:
If your hunting during Knox archery season, no need for orange. If your using your bow during the regular Knox gun season (3 weekends) then yes but you have to have a deer gun permit. If your hunting an archery only area during the extended gun hunt, then no.
No, you don't. Nor do you have to do so on any state run WMA if there is no gun hunting on the WMA at that time.
Why has the deer photo gallery not been updated in the last few years????
No you do not. You only have to wear orange on post when it is firearm season on post. Or if you are in an area for gun hunting.
what kinda info you got on 42?! Im active duty and kinda need info on all the hunting areas. Thanks
Seen one of the biggest bucks I ever seen on knox hunted 20 years there but it’s been several years ago.
