Hunted northern part of 58 today. Saw zero deer, decent amount of acorns on the ground,

Thanks. I’ve been able to hunt two of those areas as a civilian.

No I have been tied up at the office all week.

Area 117 is a boundary area on the East side, near Belmont. Only open during gun quota hunts.

For those wondering if you sign in prior to your assigned time the system will let you. But it shows up in the system and you will lose your reservation later in the day. It makes no difference to me just a heads up.

From points in Area 93 and 86A sure are nice panoramic views of Rollin Fork River Bottoms, Hayes Flats, Atherton Flats and beyond. If Ol deer runs over the hill, sure could be a rough drag back up.
