If you know where your area is and you know you're in the right place then why would you need to worry about anybody else being in the right area. Other bases use ISportsman and they don't utilize party leaders at all. I'm sure Ft Knox can have success too. They'll be a few issues at first but it will eventually work itself out.

Other posts do not allow Civilians to hunt on the reservation without a sponsor also.

Yeah I wasn't referring to the civilians. I was referring to the following comment. especially the part about the military

There will be issues if area guides are done away with. Every year we deal with folks thinking they are in the correct area but they are not. Oddly enough "more times than not it is the military that we have had more issues with boundaries or time management"

Shedhunter,
Yeah that's the county code numbers for Telechek. List that identifies the county an area is in, is what I was talking about. Most hunters will not know the county. Some areas are in (2) counties, i.e. Area 15.

Ya know, I just knew it was too good to be true. Earlier this season I had posted that I have a few Hang on stands out in the areas, and that if you see them please DO NOT Steal them. I also said that if you wanted to use them I have no issues with that, all I asked was that you call/text me to let me know that you'd be there. A few had done just that, and no issues what so ever. Well guess what, Pre-rut starts and more and more hunters hit the woods, and YUP you guessed it, over $300 worth of hunting gear Gone. (Before all the that's what you get for leaving your stuff out there) Yes all my information is ETCHED on the stand and the climbing sticks, so it's not like a person wouldn't know who they belong too.Hope you enjoy it you POS, and if I see you carrying it, or find it in the back of your truck while on Knox, I will have your A$$.

the lowest POS in the woods is someone who steals another hunters gear.

There nothing HC can do. You run this type of risk when you leave stuff in areas. I just wish that as hunters we would all respect one another and leave things where they are. There is no reason for this kind of BS to happen. But i can assure you that it will. NOt happen again
