Think I'm going to go to either 74, 44, or 13

Sorry thats what I meant was 13A. But I think I'm going with 74 if it's not full when I get to hunt control

I scouted 13 yesterday and hunted in 13a, didn't find much or see any deer. Should get better when it cools down and acorns start falling if the squirrels don't eat them all up before they hit the ground

If anyone removed a tree stand and climbing stix from Hunting Area 76, it was not an abandoned stand. I'd like to get it back. Thanks.

I hate to hear that someone would take it. Did ask hunt control if someone turned one in.

I know how ya feel, I no longer put cameras out on Knox, it's pretty sad when hunters start to carry bolt cutters with them so they can cut the cable locks to get your camera. When did u notice it was missing?

Hunt control said to contact the Game Wardens at DES. It's a shame we have a small minority of hunters that don't want to follow common courtesy. I've also heard of trail cameras being stolen on Fort Knox.

I placed it two weeks before the opening of archery on Knox. I went to hunt it on the first evening Saturday 12SEP and got a unhappy surprise when I went to go climb into my stand. So someone got it while scouting or squirrel hunting.

You shouldnt have waited so long to say something, someone might have seen a vechile or somehting in that area while they were out scouting. I thought it was recently.

You are right, it's a shame people can't leave stuff that's not theirs alone. I'm afraid that it Los long gone. The game wardens could check who had been signed in prior to your first hunt but I doubt that will lead any where. That's why I stick with a climber on Knox. Don't let this ruin your season. Good luck this fall.

Just found out about this forum yesterday. It was an old stand anyway, about 5 years old.
