I would say go to LBL. 37 is a very thick area and not a lot of decent places to hunt. At least from what I've seen.

37 borders a lot of impact area.i wouldn't get discouraged just yet. Most leaves are about off and all the under brush from previous fire burn outs will be huntable.

37 is one of my favorite areas on knox to bow hunt, it hasn't been open for bow season since 2010, I've seen some monsters in there. get down in the bottoms close to the river and find a good trail.

Not my favorite, but my favorite is 45 which is right across the road from it. I have seen big bucks moving back and forth along the river. There is a fence that was put up a few years ago the channel the deer towards the river. There is some new constructions going on back in there.

There has been a building complex built in Area 37 river bottom field and think a fence around base of hill. Think Area 37 bottoms closed to hunting. Has always been a good big deer area, big ridges and points out over Arnold Bottoms.
Sure is a long drag back to the truck if Ol' deer heads for the river bottoms after the shot.

37 is not like it use to be, It has been used as a training area for certain specialty skills. it has a fence around lots of it, it has new facilities that have created off limit areas. The area guide will be able to fill you in. Getting deer out of the bottom will be a tough task unless you have an ATV permit. the hunting is good just be prepared for the fences and what not. Good luck.

For Area 37 hunters, one other note of caution.
Be careful not to fall over the cliff facing the river at the end of the long point.

Agree with u there to! my uncle used to be a party leader in 45 but quit doing it a couple years ago but still have a buddy that is assistant in area 45. It's a great area no doubt bout it.
