How so? First I have heard of that.
X3 on youth tags. I think it should be at least 5% which would be 50 tags total. And if they're worried about taking too many Bulls, why not assign them 100 tags and say 30/70 bull/cow instead of just either sex. I don't know. I'm not a biologist, and I'm not even 100% sure on their specific goals, but I strongly agree with more youth tags. 10 tags....come on.

A report came out where they got caught giving out tags to family and friends.
Totally agree on youth. Maybe a handful for seniors too.

BullTag????????? Don't leave us hanging.
congrats on another tag. we drew a blank in my family.
congrats!!! hope he gets a record book bull!!! or cow, nothing gives me more of a thrill anymore than kid enjoying a successful hunt.
Did I miss something? What "proof" was brought to light last year that the draw was rigged?
First post and new to this site. I drew a firearm bull elk tag after putting in since the start. I almost didn't apply this year, but changed my mind at the last minute. I am from Letcher Co. and my dad got a nice bull last year with a crossbow. I think he should be able to put me on one pretty easy, at least that's what he says. Good luck to others that were drawn and keep trying to everyone else! I know how bad it is to get rejected every year!
I just found out my buddy got drawn for a rifle bull elk tag. It is like lightning struck. He can't believe it and neither can I. I told him to get a guide lined up quick and suggested he consider LMO based on what JD and others have said here. Gawd, I am so envious!!
Envy is one of the seven deadly sins. I think you meant thrilled and happy beyond belief for him.
Same guys gets drawn every year. It's rigged for the majority. Only the insiders have a chance. Never again.....
