Slow as I’ve ever had but a large part is my fault I just haven’t been able to get out as much as I used to. Maybe we’ll end on a high note.

Everything in Oldham county that I seen was froze over this morning. Other then a couple neighborhood ponds that had geese in them. And tonight’s going to be colder.

Is that a 2-3 hp model? I doubt a 24 lb thrust will keep much open?

But I commend You on your DIY instincts!! I would rather kill less over my own then more over someone else's designs!

Won’t have to worry about that ice much longer! Extended forecast showing upper 40’s to mid 50’s through the end of the month! Time to put up the decoys and bring out the fishing poles!

    Guarding my lovely bluebirds
Yes Sir, just had some powerline utilities subcontractor guy with a prominent tree service entity pull into the driveway wanting to chop some trees via fancy talk about right of way and was outside freezing in my socks while running him off of the property. Still quite chilly here.

Some prognosticators are talking about a polar vortex about 1/21/21.......

Ducks and women two of them most unpredictable things I have dealt with. They were there Saturday and Sunday but didn’t see a single bird yesterday morning. And now I can’t get back after them till Monday.

Far western end of state I’ve sat all day two days and seen virtually no bird in the air until picking up at pm end of legal shooting time and than seen a handful go in to some corn filed . Lot of the whatlimited small backwater that is here is froze still today. 3/4 in ice all day yesterday. Trying to think if I have ever sat anywhere all day and seen less ducks, actually no ducks ... sixty years of it is not much of a horizon I guess
