I’ve seen 2 different scenarios. Both say there was an ongoing feud between the 2 parties. One say the boys were hunting a private blind on public land(is that a thing? Public is public) other scenario says the boys shot at swing ducks.
rumor yesterday was that the shooter had been killed in a shootout with COs. This morning, News 5 out of west TN is saying he is still on the run. TBI Special Agents are asking for help from the public in locating a person of interest in the double homicide Monday in Obion County, Tennessee. David Vowell, age 70, of Martin is considered armed and dangerous. Vowell is the person of interest in the double homicide which occurred around 11 a.m. Monday at Reelfoot Lake. As I first reported in an earlier post this is believed to be related to some type of duck hunting incident or disagreement. If you have seen Vowell or know where he may be located call 1-800-TBI-FIND. According to the TBI, the victims are Chance Black, age 26, and Zachery Grooms, age 25, both of Weakley County.
