Heck of an auction to keep an eye on!
Wow, if only I were rich
Makes me wanna bid one time just to say I tried. Of course I hope wouldn't win.....LOL
Lol... EXACTLY what I thought! Course, with my luck, I would win and the seller would learn the meaning of "blood from a turnip"!
I'd be squeezing "blood from turnips" and "boogers out of Abe Lincoln's nose". Just couldn't see me paying that kind of money for a "Cabinet Queen". You know you would cry if something happened to it
If I were insanely rich, I would buy it and take it out to the range
For just $1, you could be insanely rich:
That's insane! $8200 would be insane, much less $82000--Mike
If I had the money I would buy it then burn about 1000 rounds through it the first day I got it!
Jams and all, it might take all day.LOL. That's a very plain jane mil spec 1911 with some "bling"...and a lot of collector value--Mike
Hellz no! It's good to see that Colt felt highly enough about it to ship it in a nice cardboard box. You'd think they spring for some walnut and velvet or something.
Thats what I was thinking!!! One off gun...in cardboard. Sounds like they went all out on this gun!
You would think that since it comes with its own custom display case that they would handle and present the gun in it, instead of a cardboard box. Serial number should be engraved in the wood case.
If that was a Commander model I'd probably bid on it....got all the 5" guns I need already.
And it's only up to $82K!
