It sounds unfortunate to me this guy has entered your family's life. I learned at young age beware of those that talk to much,

Sometimes someone unexpected comes into your life outta nowhere, makes your heart race, and changes your life forever..

We call these people Game Wardens!

    In-Season Control Permits for Damage
Deer Control Permits (301 KAR 2:176) may be issued to landowners who are experiencing damage to their property. These permits are issued to landowners who need additional deer permits during the hunting season and are for antlerless deer only . The purpose of deer control permits are to help mitigate damage in areas where the number of antlerless deer legal for harvest is limited due to zone restrictions. Each control permit issued has a unique identifying number that is used to report a single harvested deer via telecheck. There are two ways to telecheck your harvest:

I would already be sideways. Making a phone call or two and make them watch him at least. Put a bug in their ear.

Telling the truth and reporting poachers to KDFWR is not being a rat. To me, you have an obligation to the resource as well as the sportsmen of the state. I’d report him and not care if he knew it. I do my best to obey all laws but those who violate game laws really get under my skin.

Will be there tomorrow. My doe was there same evening (killed in am). If he doesn’t check it or falsified that you’ve got a whole different issue.

Turn him in or your no better than he is!
He's breaking the law, plain and simple and if that's not bad enough he's got your family member thinking he's great.
