Havent had much luck past 2 hunts since it warmed up. Better Temps today so I headed out about 10. Not sure how many stands it took but finally coaxed one in from my down wind side. Another young female to coyote pup distress.
Glad to see you with another one. I scanned around my house a few minutes ago and all I saw was my momma cat's eyes looking at me. They will be back out when it gets colder.
I usually do minum 15 minutes per stand so I can get in as many as possible. I stayed for 17 on this stand and turned my call off, grabbed my rifle off the sticks and this one was behind me slowly coming in. Lesson learned, I probably need to suck it up and just stay longer. I think if the spot gives me that feeling, ill start giving it 20-30 minutes. I probably spook more dogs than I realize.
