in,worked till 9 30 last night,nothing layed out,hunting a spot i did not want to on first day,typical deer season i guess for me,got 3 weeks to straighten it out lol,in greenup co.
Well wife was first shot of morning. She thinks it was a 10. Hopefully she connected.
From what i have seen this week,I think most mature bucks are locked down,so about 5 to 7 days putting your time in lol
Got one of those huge woodpeckers...like 15" tall.....shredding the bark off a dead tree next to me. Couldnt help but think of DH13 and his tresspasser issue lol. One thing i love about this farm is all the giant woodpeckers. I don't think I see them any other place.

Buddy shot this one at the other end of our farm chasing a doe. Woods and fields are dead on my end this morning.
Saw a tall 8-10 pt in estill, no shot. Moving my stand deeper into the bottom for tomorrow morning. He looked to be a stud but i want a closer look.
They are ignoring the corn pile, 150lbs been here 7 days. Fresh rubs and scrapes all around it.
