I'm glad it's bow only again. No more trucks driving around. It's like I'm the only one in miles.

I sat this morning from dawn to 10:00. Had to leave early unfortunately due to some obligations. No deer seen while on stand. Not five minutes after I get down and start walking back all heck breaks loose. There’s a doe running full throttle through the woods. Something was chasing her. I’m imagining it was a 200 incher but I never saw him. She runs down the ridge does a 90 degree turn on the path I’m on still going full out and literally skids to a stop 10 feet from me. I was standing there arrow knocked waiting for what was behind her and she picked the trail I was on to run down. Of course after seeing me standing there she bounced off and blew up the woods. Hunt over. It was an exciting conclusion.
