5ED9F69F-48F1-4CCB-8F35-8F868B1A9CC4.jpeg Took my daughter to the same blind my son got his buck from last night. Had this 10ptr come in and she missed... I miss judged the distance I guess?? She shot right under him. Came cruising by at 9:30. Didn’t think we’d see much with all the commotion of getting my son’s buck out last night. But she asked if we could go today, and this time of year you just never know!!!

Another really slow morning, saw nothing from daylight until 1:30, got back in and settled about 30 minutes ago in a stand I haven't hunted all year.

Just killed the worst doe in the history of deer. This skank has been blowin at me for 3 years. I always know it's her because she has one of those warts on her ham. Witches always have warts. I vowed to kill her back in September.
Hung a new set at 12:30. She came thru at 1:00 about 30 yards, oblivious to me, for once! Drilled her and she dropped in 20. Got her in the ice chest and the little lady gets her date night. Win win.

Beautiful morning. Not much going on in my woods in Madison co. Saw a doe and a young buck and about 30 turkeys which decided to scratch through the forest just behind me allllllll morning long.

Congrats on the ol doe, some can pattern ya like your wearing a beacon.

I guess my bow hunting is done for the year. Bone fractures don't heal as fast as I'd hoped. Bucks are definitely in the mood. Little cuz killed killed a dandy 10 this morning. I seen a 8pt with doe that didn't care I was in the world yesterday evening. Now's the time boys! Goodluck
