Whopper headed doe down. Saw 7 this morning first was a small 6 cruising then 2 does came down the timbered hill across the creek. To thick to get a shot, about 20 minutes later a buck came down the same trail but to thick and to quick to tell what he was but could tell it was bigger than the first buck. Finally this doe and 2 others came down the creek trail. She didn't go 6 yards. Now for a day of working her up. A3A21D65-58B9-4E56-8437-11F7A6E7B7BB.jpeg

Waited for the wind to die down and headed to my climber. Walking up to the edge of the ridge to peek into the open creek bottom where my climber is set. Just before I get there I hear deer running. When I look over the edge there is my #1 target buck running behind a doe @ 80 yards. He is @ 100 yards away before I can get the crosshairs on him and of course there are branches covering the vitals when he stopped. He walked off without me getting off a shot. Hoping she will bring him back to the corn or acorns in the bottom.
