Seen 2 does 2 yearlings. I have not seen a buck yet bigger than 6 pointer. Took doe last night her hauks where almost Snow White. Very little staining at all. Sadieville area.
Skipped out in work today and back in a tree. Saw 2 does,whacked one of them,3 fawns and a buck I really would like to get a better look at. This is the second time he's skirted me. Hopefully I'll get a better look the next time.
4th day in a row. Seen 2 does and heard some chasing going on at the property above me. Hoping they come down from there and into view. Last day of hunting until the weekend. Good luck out there
Hunted second half of day Friday. All day hunts Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Haven't seen anything other than turkeys. Lots of turkeys, that won't be there when I'm hunting them. Needed a break to rest and regroup this morning. Going back in for second half of day. Then I have to go back to work the rest of the week. Fingers crossed.
Activity early saw 5 does and a spike. Been slow since. Noticed big fresh scrape about 40 yds out off deer trail. Few of does stopped in it but didn't leave Mr.buck anything.lol Wind has picked up pretty good. Like to do all day but only till noon today. Got work to do.
Been sitting dark to dark since Saturday passed up I don't know how many bucks finally got my eyes on the buck I've been hunting he came where no deer ever come 180 yards in the timber picked what I thought to be a good opening and I'm pretty sure I just killed a tree
It was a great day in the woods where I was! Sat until 1130, steady action all morning. Saw 9 different bucks, and a bunch of does. Best part about it was that the. Closest shot I heard was over a mile away. Got to work this evening so good luck all.
