Didn’t see any this evening until we drove out then they were standing all over the road.
Me and dad both seen a couple does this evening and he killed a coyote.
Ended up seeing 4 yearlings and 4 turkeys. No shots heard.
I had a doe show up at 5:10. Jumpy for some reason, but she was upwind of me... Just nervous. Fed for 10 minutes, then eased out into the grass field by me. 75 yards out in the hay field, she started blowing. Blew about 7-8 times, then ran off. I'm sure that didn't help the remainder of my afternoon. I was hoping she'd come back. Pissed me off so bad I was going to shoot her. Then about 15 minutes before dark, I hear her blow again about 300 yards off by the bean field. No idea what she was blowing at. Maybe a yote? Who knows.
Saw one deer this evening , one of my small bucks, the one I call moose because of palmation in his rack..
Saw several does and three small bucks. The bucks put on a show sparing.
I just set at my window, Sunday evening, over looking my backfield and watched 5 Deer with one being a Spike. Didn't hear one shot all day long. Too Warm!
We heard two morning, two evening in Stamping Ground area.
Saw 5 does 20 minutes before dark come out into a roundup sprayed crop field. Had a nice young 2.5 year old 8 pt come out in the bean field right before dark. It's getting hard for me to get with it this year. 130" deer is as big as I have on camera since I put 3 of them out this fall.
Saw 26 deer Saturday morning, 11 different bucks. 5 Saturday night, shot a doe. Sunday morning just 1 doe. I did cover up 3 scrapes on my walk in Sunday morning and when I walked out at 11 all 3 were cleaned off again. Heard 1 person shoot on Sunday- one of those cheating 5 shot muzzleloaders around 8am. Fun weekend
