Just saw on the Lexington news that a 15 year old girl was shot in the chest with a deer rifle and killed, she was on a hunting trip with a friend, that s all they had on it makes you wonder how old the friend was.

Hey guys just got back from a 4 day trip to LBL thought i would give an update on how it went, there was 7 of us went we hunted the north end we saw plenty of deer the bucks are for sure doing there thing there, out of 7 of us we killed 8 deer 4 bucks and 4 does, the bucks were all on the prowl...

There is 6 0f us leaving a week from tommorow and will be there for 5 days we will be staying at the motel out of the north end of the trace and we usually hunt area 1 and 2i beleive the dates is nov 1 thru nov 6, has anyone on here done any hunting in these area so far this year.

When is the guide meeting or when will we find out what area we got?

Does anyone have any news on Fort Campbell? are they killing many deer over there or even seeing many deer this year so far?

Ok guys thanks for the info, and i am all for the soldiers getting to hunt that is there base4, i was just wandering what kind of affect the changes would have on the hunting and you all answered that.

What is the change with the guides are they not going to enter the hunting area with us, i am confused about the hole thing, and with the gunn season being open to the army for so many days wont that have all the deer pushed into the impact areas before we hunt on the gu dates

I sent my application in today just wandering how many else did, and what affects will all the new cahnges have on hunting there this year, i love hunting at Knox and hope they have not ruined a good thing.

I just called hunt controll and she said if you have not had it done before you send in your application you just need to mark no on the application were it asked you if you have done it , thanks valley station for the #.

Now in order to put in do you have to have the back groung check done prior to putting in or do they do it when you send them your hunt applicatioN?
