I agree a shotgun kill would be nice, but it's not an easy task. I've killed my share of deer with a bow and killing a coyote with a shotgun is a bigger accomplishment no doubt. I work during the day as well, but nobody works 7 days a week. haha

I agree 100%. I can sit on the porch and listen to them howl. Going out and putting fur on the ground is a different story. Lots of posts about calling them in and not killing any coyotes.

Every story I have read about night hunting is the same. I had them fired up and they didn't come in or they came in and we spooked them and they ran off. Lots of people are considering it a success to do that. That's not success at coyote hunting. I like to watch them come in, but if I don't...

Yeah, that coyote distress worked really well. I actually started laughing as they came back over the hill. It was an awesome hunt.

I'm shooting a 22-250 and it definitely put a hurting on them. They are one tough animal though.

That 40 grain Vmax did some damage on these things. Both had holes you could put your fist in.

That's how it goes. They know exactly where to go so you can't see them. The more I hunt these things the more I realize how smart they really are. I love the challenge of it though.

That's what I use. Seems to work pretty well. Some people say the remote doesn't work from far away. I've tested mine out to 200 yards and it works fine.

I've thought about it. I have never been to LBL. I'll have to see if I can get off work that weekend.

I'd love to do that. Plenty yotes to be killed.
