This is what I did today, and it worked pretty good. There's a good deal of pitting, but not as bad as I expected. It's at least shootable again

I was given a muzzleloader, CVA Optima, and it has a lot of rust in the bore from not being cleaned. What is the best way to remove heavy rust? I ran a wire til and several patches through it last night, but there's still a lot in there that I need to get out. Any suggestions?

Just heard back from KDFW that yoyos are legal and considered the same a limb line. Must have a fishing license and keep to kreal limits

I haven't had a chance to get out and shop yet. I do like the looks and price of the fire sights though. The only thing that scares me about a red dot, is me bumping the gun and knocking the sights off. I have also considered putting a scope on it since it will likely be used as a slug gun also...

I have an old rod that, visually, has seen it's better days. Was thinking about repainting it and giving it some new life. Just curious what type of paint should be used? I would assume something along the lines of an auto paint? Something that will hold up the the flexing. Any suggestions?
