This is only pic I have of my dad with his deer he shot in his 20’s growing up in Indiana. He told me it was a meat deer didn’t have a clue how big he was until he walked up on. I would say a tape measure was the last thing on his mind. Shot it with a 12ga slug! He always patted me on the back...
Walked in a barn today and heard what’s I thought was a bull busting through the stall and out popped a 10 pointer (he was bedded down) at least 5 feet from me. Had a stare down I went to the side, he went past me through another stall and out the side 10 ft away from my wife! Anyone know how...
Let see some pics with our loved ones who have passed on or can no longer hunt!
This is my daughter with my dad who got me into to hunting. He was super proud of her! He passed October 30, 2017.

No hard feelings. Just can’t believe she started apologizing. May had to due with her last 2 deer which was in the 140s. One with a bow last year. I’m above and beyond proud of her. I told her it her heart was pounding she did the right thing.

I wasn’t going to post this on here but the more I thought about it I believe I will. This is a Facebook post that I posted the day my daughter killed her deer this year. I remember hunting with my dad when I was just a kid and if you even seen a deer, it was an accomplishment see post below...
Not her biggest but a great time! With a busy schedule with nursing school. We finally made it back out. Super proud of her. She can field dress them with the best of us. Especially being a nurse, not much get to her. I told her husband don’t ever make her mad! Lol
I hunted there the last 2 days. That place looks like a thriving city after a zombie apocalypse! Back in the 90s and early 2000s it was covered up with deer. Only seen 2 standing on the trace. It’s just plain sad!
