Typically either small blemishes or factory overruns. Most folks would never be able to spot the difference. A deer, groundhog, or coyote never will. 😉
I'm personally not crazy about the brass ones, but my buddy has one in .44 and he's killed 4 or 5 deer with it. They were all DRT. If the weather is crappy he will switch to a different rifle, but otherwise he uses the Henry.
I have used both of my CCH Henry's to take deer, but have since retired them to guarding the safe. I bought two of the plain blued steel models to use for hunting instead. Still very nice guns, but not fancy.

I checked my load, and I did not chrono them. According to Nosler, that load measured 3573 fps in a 24" test barrel. Mine is a 22", so it's probably in the 3500-3550 range.
