Got out of class early, figured go try a new place. He ain’t big, but he’s a peacock. They are on the bed right now and will not eat. Hopefully next time they’ll be more agreeable to bitting. Prolly saw 15-20 laying on the beds today.
Just me personally, I’d go saltwater. Like others said south La for trout / redfish or if you have time go to the Fl Keys for pretty much anything from snook in the back country, permit and bonefish on the flats plus all the offshore species you could want
