When mine have gotten really bad in the past I would slather on a moisturizing lotion of choice after showering and then put on a cheap pair of new clean cotton gloves to sleep in. Drinks lots of fluids.There is a noticeable improvement the next morning.

Recycling is a good thing! I do it with soft drink containers & box wine bladders too. Really handy and you don't have to invest in collapsible storage bags for water or whatever beverage you intend to carry. When done just toss it in the trash or re-use them again.
