I am in Hancock County. I went down to Pennyrile for the quota hunt this year. Quite frankly I was a little dissapointed. I did like the lodge and park though, might consider a weekend getaway with the family sometime.

I hunt in Western Kentucky in Livingston county. I own 75 acres with a house and love to hunt Kentucky. This is my 2nd year hunting it and got my 1st shooter this year. I saw another one later that was bigger though. I shot at and missed one last year my 1st season hunting there. I would rate Kentucky as 10 times more likely to see a shooter than in Georgia. I have a life time hunting license in Georgia but have not hunted there since the 2007 season.
