I have but never caught two at a time. Brushpiles will cost you big time when your park that rig in it. I'd just as soon use a two jig spiderrig. Only ever use light wire painted jig heads...no sliders.
I haven't killed all that many but I aim at the "just behind the shoulder spot" because we eat every deer we shoot. I don't want to waste a shoulder by blowing it up. A buddy shot one in the shoulder with his 30/30 and neither shoulder was any good to salvage for meat....just my opinion tho.
