20ga Longbeard XR soon to be available.
They work in the 12ga.
I like the long beards but you will need to becarful they are tight a little to much for me great for long range
My son and I have been shooting the Longbeards in 12ga for the past 3 spring seasons. They are the best patterning lead shot shells you will find. I'm anxious to try out the 20ga. They will be new this spring. That's why I posted this thread was to inform yall about the 20ga.
They should hit the shelves mid March. According to the folks at Winchester, they should put as many as 3 times the pellets in a 10" circle at 60 yards than their current 20 gauge lead loads. I have some test boxes on the way, I'll post results as soon as we give them a try
The Longbeards are awesome. Winchester also came out in 2016 with their Varmint X shotgun shells for coyotes using the same Shot-Loc technology. They pattern excellent as well.
Pentail look forward to those results.
I hunt with a 20 but use the Nitro #7 hevi shot and they are simply awesome. May have to try the Winchester.
