When should I be able to spray glyphosate to kill off my fields?
Everything needs to be green and growing.
Heck that's about what's happening right now lol. My yard has begun to green up big time.
Realistically probably need to wait until late April or May. I'd assume we'll have a couple more killing frosts.
I'd say at least Easter.
Depends on what you're trying to kill. Cool season weeds and grasses are flush with growth right now.
All weeds have not come up yet
You will be told over and over again that Gly wont work on dormant plants, or maybe it's a label issue, but if it's green, you can kill it. Most grasses and weeds aren't really dormant, theyre just growing much slower. I've killed the crap out of some stuff in august that I was told wouldn't work. I killed the crap out of some weeds in my plantings in February. If you don't think Gly works(albeit more slowly) in winter, go spray it on your front yard in Feb and see what you have left.
Temps should be above 60. Whatever you want killed must be actively growing
