Anyone know of any walleye guides in KY? An outing with a good guide would reduce the learning curve on how to catch them I would think.
Those walleye filets really left an impression on you. What part of Kentucky are you wanting to fish?
I live South of Lexington so Laurel, Woodscreek, and Cumberland would be the most convenient. KY river as well when I figure them out.
Fall can be tough for walleye but then again I normally only fish for them in the late spring. Have you seen this: http://www.kentuckyhunting.net/threads/target-fall-walleye.10249/
One of the striper guides on Cumberland does trips on Dale Hollow I recall seeing. Can't remember which one though. A Google search ought to bring it up for ya.
Thanks for the info guys I appreciate it. I saw one ad for a guide on dale hollow. It was 450.00 for 8 hours or a limit. May have to take the slow road on that learning curve.
Not in Ky but I have a friend in Ohio that works on a Lake Erie boat. He is a 101st Vet and supports the Veterans groups as well. We met when I took him duck hunting a few years back with a Take a Vet hunting deal.
Call Aaron Capshaw, he is truly a good guy and will help you in whatever way that he can. https://www.facebook.com/KyTntrophyfishing/
