This morning right after good shooting light I looked out into the field and could see a deer so I put my rifle on the stick and the moment I seen him through my scope I knew he was a shooter, he was following a couple does. When i shot and he ran to the edge of the woods and stopped so I shot again. He was gone and I didn't know where he had went but the shot felt good so I decided to wait about 40 mins and go take a look. Well I went to where he was standing and didn't see anything so I decided to start down the holler. I hadn't made it out of the field and could see 1 laying there but I couldn't see his rack because of the broomsage. The closer I got the bigger he looked. I knew he was a good deer but I didn't know he was this big. He hadn't ran probably 30 yards from where I shot. I have had a tuff but really blessed season, several days I didn't think I would be able to stay long because of my back but with a lil prayer I would get to stay longer than I had expected and I didn't get to bow hunted very little but my 11 year old step son killed an 11 point the second day of the early muzzle loader season and my dad killed a nice 9 the first day of rifle and today I was blessed with my biggest buck ever. I haven't been able to measure much but he has a 19 in inside spread.needless to say between Connors deer and mine I'm gonna have a pretty good taxidermy bill haha.
