Friday night I return to my house and realized I had been burglarized, all of my fishing equipment was on the back porch and all stolen, several baitcasters,a couple spinning reels and two of my good tackle boxes, A pretty big hit I've valued that lost at around $500

My question is, faced with a similar situation when you had to start all over again without spending crazy money what are your go to fishing essentials, not talking rods and reels just different baits/lures, for instance headed to the lake bass fishing with $50 in your pocket what lures would you buy at Walmart

    Buzzbaits, spinnerbaits, worms.

Edit to add: Trailer hooks for the buzzbaits.

Also, sorry you had stuff stolen.

Not sure what else was stolen in your house but 9/10 when it’s something specific like guns or fishing equipment it’s somebody who knows you...sad fact. I’d buy a couple medium weight spinner rods/reels, couple top water that can crank shallow, couple buzzbaits, a few good ol rooster tails.

Add a couple broken back swimmers, i love to fish them slow for top water explosions.
