Should be illegal, in fact it is. Have a friend who lives near a bridge, and inconsiderate a-holes show up at all hours of the night, shining lights, stirring up his dogs and waking his family up.

Oh and the KDFWR sucks too, for looking the other way...Here's my middle finger to both group of thugs for giving sportsmen a black eye.

It's getting worse, so you go figure.
Disrespectful people will cost us big time, and we will all lose.

Neighbor says he is taking it to the legal system, so discharging a weapon from the road will be exploited to maximum effect...Bunch of dumbasses in our ranks, no shortage of stupid behaviour.

Really, Who gives a damn?? They are shooting rough fish. Hopefully if any Asian carp are in the creek then they are getting those!

The only issue I have is leaving the fish on the bank. Kill em and toss em back in the water!

Maybe we can organize a state wide non boaters bow fishing tourney?? Either wade or shoot of the bank or bridges?

I'm taking this up with the county fiscal court, and then the states attorney.

Discharging any weapon from a public roadway is illegal.

Plus, the bowfishers are shooting into private lands on non-navigable waters, therefore fishing private property well out of the ROW.

You chumps are getting ready to have your disrespectful asses handed to you in the legal system, so chew on that.

Right Of Way is about 70 feet wide on most roads. 35 feet from the center line will cover most bow shots and I doubt you get any judge all in an uproar over guys thinning out trash fish....
