Really late fawn

    i got this pic back in December and January I was shocked just goes to show that breeding happens at many different times...

    Assumed so......I have seen fawns with spots in December on a few occasions. Always zone 1, heavy doe populations. They say they come in every 28 days until bred, so definitely supports that fact !

    Yea I actually had a couple different ones that where fawns that late

    Yep welcome to Ky! It can be on from Sept to January! Most years we get a lot of midOctober breeding activity and the last two years early to midDecember has been red hot. Bucks very responsive to calling during the late ML!

    Wow, well I have never witnessed chasing/breeding, outside of nov. But obviously it happens.

    Yep we have another thread discussing Fawns. Some of us saw them in early May which means those does were likely bred before November.
